Company Payroll Structure Prepare In LinesPay : Part -2

We have categorized Payroll Items into four types. 

1. Income 
2.Deduction 
3.Addition 
4.Tax

Select Type of the payroll item, Type name of the Item. Then select which type of calculation is for this Payroll Item. Then write amount / percent figure into the amount/ percent field. If this payroll item needs to multiply with something like Overtime, Holiday Present or attendance etc then select is rate. Here you can see lots of option. Just select from it.

Now is the time for Payscale Setup

Payscale is a group of Payroll Items which is being used to calculate salary by applying. Each & Every Payroll Item is included in a single row.
Write the name of the Pay scale & put the pay scale amount into the amount field. Select Payroll Item row which is not required the click on Minus (-) icon to remove & Save the Pay scale.

Payroll Module is divided into two parts.

·         Payroll Item

·         Pay scale.

Payroll Item:

Payroll Item is the basic building block of Payroll Structure. There are 4 types of payroll Item in our System.

1.       Income

2.       Addition

3.       Deduction

4.       Tax

Scenario:

Zyx Ltd company payroll structure is given below.

For Executive,

Basic is 55% of Gross,H.R. 35% of Gross ,Medical Allowance  10% of Gross, Transport 20%of basic, Mobile Bill 1000 tk,1day of basic deduction from every absent days.

For Worker,

Basic=(Gross-200)/1.4

H.R. = 40% of Basic

Medical = 200tk

O.T. = (1/208)×O.T.Hour ×Basic

Attendance Bonus = 400 tk for Full Attendance

Absent =1day of gross for absent days.

Step 1, Identify Payroll Item.

Basic is 55% of Gross,H.R. 35% of Gross ,Medical Allowance  10% of Gross, Transport 20%of basic, Mobile Bill 1000 tk,1day of basic deduction from every absent days.

Step 2, Identify Payroll A/C Type,

Income Type:

Only Base item which calculation doesn't depend on any other payroll item.

Basic 55% of gross

H.R. 35% of gross

Medical Allowance 10% of gross

Question???

What will be the Payroll A/C Type of Mobile Bill?

Addition Type:

Except income item all additional Payroll Item.

Transport Allowance = 20% of Basic.

Deduction Type:

Deduction Payroll Item.

Absent=1day of Basic for each day

Step 3, Calculation,

First Need to find Calculation Type whether it’s percentage or Flat Amount.

Absent Deduction= Basic/(days in Month)×Absent Days
